Ehh, I'm not dead Just can't seem to finish any drawings... Ever ! -_- And the MS Paint days are OVER XD Trying to draw with Photoshop! Mind you, I don't have a tablet so this is all mouse and aching hands results. . .Yay me.

My X-Men OC again ; Lamina Jones. Going back to her roots, since I made her up when I first got addicted to X-Men via the cartoon X-Men Evolution ! I put an X-Evo Screencap in the background to help me draw the basic outlines, because try starting from nothing, with the line tool, in Photoshop . . . XD The hair isn't perfect, but I'm still proud of the whole thing ! My first attempt at '' Cell Shading '' ? Experienced a lot, but was guided by this sweet tutorial [link] And why - yes ! I do love my backgrounds beautiful and with a lot of colors and details . . . XD

I Rearanged her brown hair so it may have kinda the same design as X-23's. Cause hey - relatives are often reckognised by hair styles, in cartoons . . . XD

( Ready for BLAH BLAH BLAHS? ) Quick Lamy recap (NOT written by the 12 year old me, from all my old Deviations ) ; I created Lamina basically as ( mind yourselves - I was like 11 ) a teenage girl with a shady and forgotten past in a laboratory where she was raised to be the female ' child ' of Wolverine, when I first got hooked on the show. Then, season 2 arrived and so did the first introduction to X-23. So I found myself with an OC very very similar to a Canon in too many ways But rather than hating on X-23, I felt a connection to the character and grew fond of her, and redevelopped Lamina to be the 22nd failed project before X-23, but procreated at the same time ( a twin, if you may ! ) that managed to escape before the adamantium bonding that they knew would kill her, for she only had developped one claw on her right hand, and a limited healing factor, as well as a random and very limited flight ability! Oh the unexpected unravelings of gene manipulations . . .

Lamina is my own little fantasy. As X-23's comics came out and her very unique and troubled background was explored, it gave me the opportunity to redevelop my first OC created when I was just a kid, to fill the dark voids the 11 year old me was unable to, with sense, and make her fit in this Hydra/Weapon X timeline. I have come to be in peace with my OC addiction, and know that there will always be people to hate and people to appreciate, and that I respect that Lamy will always be special tough, since she was my first OC !

So yadda yadda yap, call her a copy, but I know otherwise That was a long recap XD And I didn't even go in the Personality department !
